Red snapper comeback: Longer seasons signal a new era for Gulf fishing

Red snapper are always in high demand because they are such excellent table fare. It has a mild, slightly sweet flavor with firm white flesh that works well grilled, fried, blackened or baked. It is considered one of the best of all the great Gulf food fish.
