The heat has been a major topic for everyone on the water lately, but there’s still great fishing to be had. This week, Doug Wynn’s report covers a successful fishing trip using planer boards that resulted in a mix of keeper yellow bass, crappie, and a sizable largemouth. As we head into August, the fishing will continue to be a good option for those willing to get out early or stay late. The water levels will start to drop soon, so be mindful of the changes and stay safe.
