One involved hundreds of thousands gathered around a football game. Carrying the hopes of a whole week, they cheered for dozens of players they’ll likely never meet. For most, a win was the only acceptable outcome.
The other Minnesota also involved many thousands, gathered around their common pursuit: the deer hunt.
