After hearing incredible fishing reports from opening weekend, Dan drove to Upper Red Lake to see what all the hype was about. The limit was raised to five walleyes a day in order to take some spawning fish out of the population, and if that’s the case you have a good idea that the bite might be pretty good. Let’s just say it didn’t disappoint. Dan shows what worked best to catch open water walleyes on Red Lake. Then his buddy Jon Krumsieg hopped in the boat after work and put on a clinic using livescope to target individual fish. The reports held true! It was a fun day no doubt!
