WINNECONNE, Wis. — The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will host an in-person media availability on the opening day of the 2026 sturgeon spearing season, Saturday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m.

- Lt. Ryan Propson – DNR Lake Winnebago Team Warden Supervisor

Representatives from the DNR will be available to discuss opening weekend and answer questions about the sturgeon spearing season.
