Welcome to the Outdoor Feed

What is The Outdoor Feed? We’re your one-stop place for hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation content from a team of writers, photographers and outdoor content creators from AGLOW, the Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers.

AGLOW members celebrating at the recent conference in Branson.

AGLOW is comprised of over 400 members from 34 states and two provinces. They’re finding the latest news from the outdoor world and digging for interesting stories to share. Product testing, gear reviews and previews of new products are also included.

AGLOW has been around since 1956 and in an era where the media landscape is changing and similar groups are dissolving, AGLOW keeps bucking the trend by growing and embracing new media and the digital world, while not forgetting their traditional roots. Merging the past and the present with media members who have a wide range of age, experience and expertise.

AGLOW recently held their annual conference in Branson, Missouri, where journalists, photographers, and Youtubers were able to fish legendary lakes like Table Rock, Taneycomo and Bull Shoals, while visiting bucket-list destinations such as the Wonders of Wildlife museum, Top of the Rock, the Branson Aquarium and Dogwood Canyon.

The annual Awards In Craft ceremony capped off the conference while recognizing the excellence in outdoor content that was created by its membership and consumed by outdoor enthusiasts all over the world. You can learn more about the awards and see their content here.

AGLOW’S members are constantly creating high quality outdoors content and we’ll be sharing that with you here, through The Outdoor Feed. You can follow along with us here, on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. Subscribe to our blog and follow along on social media as we bring the outdoors right to your phone or laptop.
